Twitter etiquette dictates that you follow Tweeple who follow you. But what about the Tweeple you are following that don’t follow back? Consider it rude? Just use huitter’s Mutuality2 to unfollow them in bulk.

There are literally hundreds, if not more, Twitter applications. I seem to be introduced to a new one every week.
This week I have discovered Twtri.com which “updates your email, twitter or facebook with your flight status so you don’t have to“.
Why am I reluctant to use Twtri.com? Actually I will use it via email. Certainly my family and my friend who is meeting me at the airport will want to know if my flight is ontime or delayed.
But do my Facebook friends or Twitter followers really want to know? Do I really want them to know? I think not.

Tweeple, people who are serious about
Twitter, are using hashtags to agregate and monitor tweets on particular subjects.
Twitter is the premier microblogging platform that answers the question, “What are you doing”?
While it is possible to search Twitter using keywords, such as XING Stockholm, clever Tweeple are using hashtags, for example #xingsthm to find out what is being said about XING Stockholm on Twitter.
Hash dictionary allows Tweeple to define their hash tags.

Twitter has emerged as a very poerful social media tool. But it can be time consuming sending out regular tweets. Tweet Later is a tool that lets you set up your tweets, automate your Tweets from your blog RSS feeds and more.
I am experimenting with this tool now. I believe in using tools that save precious time.

Just when you think that no one could come up with another social media application, I would like to introduce you to Twello. Hello! You haven’t heard of Twello? Basically it is Twitter in your neighborhood:
Working for you
Twellow.com has been designed from the ground up to help you “cut through the clutter”. From our home at Twellow headquarters, we’re actively searching and categorizing millions of inter-personal exchanges available on the internet every day. Twellow.com is thereby able to assist you in finding real people who really matter. We’re doing the hard work of sifting out people who can help bring your vision to reality, whatever that vision might be.
How does it work?
Twellow.com is currently grabbing publicly available messages from the Twitter.com micro-blogging service. We then analyze and categorize each of the users responsible for those messages into the various categories found at Twellow.com. By adding these people to specific categories we help you narrow your searching into specific niches where you can find who you are looking for. In addition to Twitter, we’re actively working on adding more social media services to broaden your capacity to find people who matter.
Check it out.
